UKSA is one of Europe’s leading maritime training academies, offering world-class yachting, superyacht, and watersports education from its waterfront campus in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Established in 1987, UKSA provides professional training for aspiring and experienced yacht crew, alongside youth development programmes through its charitable foundation.

The academy is recognised internationally for delivering industry-standard qualifications, including STCW Basic Safety Training, Superyacht Crew Training, Yachtmaster, and advanced officer-level courses. With on-site accommodation, modern classrooms, fire and sea-survival training facilities, and direct river access, UKSA offers a fully equipped environment for students preparing for careers at sea.

UKSA works closely with global superyacht recruiters and operators, helping graduates enter the industry with confidence. As a charity, it also supports young people through funded programmes, bursaries, and career pathways into the maritime sector.
