Dr Birkirkara is certified in Level II obstetric ultrasound by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Fetal Medicine Foundation (London).
From 2004 to 2005, she was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Fetal Care at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in London (Imperial College). She has always practiced as a gynecologist in hospital settings.
