Son Vich de Superna traces its origins back to 1236, when King James I rewarded Knight Ludovico de Vic with the Superna Valley lands, giving the estate its name. Over the centuries it passed through many hands, until the Moragues-Monlau family transformed it in the late 19th century, building the limestone houses we see today and creating one of Mallorca’s finest Romantic gardens. In 1981, the Sampol-Massanet family revitalized the estate, restoring the gardens and focusing on vineyards, olive groves, and traditional farming, keeping alive Mallorca’s ancestral way of life.
