Mamo Michelangelo (often just “Mamo”) is an upscale Italian-Mediterranean restaurant located in the old town of Antibes, behind the ramparts.

Opened in 1992, it’s become something of an institution. The setting is atmospheric: inside an old stone wine cellar, with rustic charm, and also a terrace/outdoor seating.

The cuisine blends Italian classics (homemade pasta, pizzas, truffle dishes) with high-quality produce from local suppliers. Signature dishes include things like raviolinis with truffle, grilled lamb shoulder, wood-fire grilled rabbit, focaccia with truffle, and excellent desserts like tiramisu and lemon tart.

It’s popular with both locals and visitors — known for its elegant ambience, celebrity clientele, and strong reputation. It’s not cheap, but the emphasis is on quality, generosity, and experience. Excellence
